I absolutely love this song. The first time I heard it was a few months back in one of the Solid Steel shows. I, as I do with all new tunes I love, got obsessed with trying to find it. I finally found it, but only the video about 2 or 3 months ago. I really want the remixed mp3 versions, which apparently are sold out on a lot of the underground music sites. …. closed down?!?!? This was such a cool place for kids and adults to hang out and enjoy a laid back, creative ambiance. I heard the buzz that the Riverside Hotel was planning to tear down the whole strip to make the pretentious hotel even more massive, but to tear down one of my hot spots was uncalled for… if in fact that had anything to do with the closing down. I am saddened, and so is M.

I feel like such a slacker for not keeoing the blog updated over the past month. A lot to talk about, so I will do my best to make up for time lost this week- HOLD ON

I put on the tele this morning and was is complete disarray that there was a cyclone that ripped through Myanmar. 4000 people killed and the numbers may rise to 10k. My heart goes out to those people… wish I could do something to help.

Yes, tomorrow there will be a nationwide gas strike…. don’t purchase gas if you don’t need to. They are approximating about a $70 billion loss tomorrow. I know that a handful of the participants will not make a huge impact, but if these are consistently organized, a few more will do a lot of justice I suppose.

I’m reading Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power of Now”, another addition to my collection of guides to being an enlightened individual {cough cough*}. Last night was a bit rough for me and I opened the book to just the right chapter… the one about pain bodies in the beginning and yadda yadda. I went in to deep thought about all that has been transforming, and not, in my life. The following is what I would like to address to Mr. Tolle:

How do you protect yourself from pain-body coodies from coming back or disguising itself in other form? A woman struggled for almost 15 years with self-destructive (so-to-say) tendencies. She has finally gained control, the urges are diminished, but the mental hurt has come back ten fold. Her tendencies were her outlet, now that that outlet is no longer available, it’s like she is verbally lashing into herself even worse. Is this part of the transformation? Now that she is somewhat normal, are these negative feelings and topsy-turvy moods the hell in which you speak of… or was hell when she was being physically self-destructive?

Pure curiosity…

Now we’ve all had our run in of events in which the thought of a camera came after the fact. After seeing this amazing story, I am definitely going to keep mine handy at ALL times!

I have had the advantage in my life to befriend people from all walks of life. From geeks to Nazi looking to very high class to FAB-ers (fresh off the boaters) to super ghetto, my love for diversity has always superseded prejudice.

I’m baaaaaack. It wasn’t AS horrible as I thought, but extremely painful. So painful that the thought of smoking cigarettes was…. unthinkable. It is a shame that such a life changing procedure has assisted in me quitting smoking. Yes, it’s wonderful that I have decided to cut that out, but it would have been nice to do it without reason- I’m just that kinda gal I’ve realized. The “trich”-ness has gone away- WOA! I strongly believe the 2 go hand in hand. What a battle… every day, almost 15 year “killing” spree. Don’t want to go in to too much detail, but oh my gosh are things so clear lately. Tears shed when I think of how bad I treated myself. Moving forward —->
I went to see Indu, a beautiful, older Indian, in my world a GOD right now, and ladies hands down threading is the way to go… not down there, unless you’re in to freaky shit like that. The pain was more excruciating than the after surgery pain. Imagine having a tatoo from the inside out. One would think that from the damage I’d done, all the hairs would just fall out, bot nope.. I was-a-CRYING! I can’t wait to go back. wink wink

Tomorrow, March 12, is THEEEE day! I am totally not freaking out right now, NOT. Now it is in my nature to be a “what if”-er, but I have never had it hit me as hard as now. What if this is the last time I eat my delicious salads? Polish my nails? Speak to a few friends? This is just the minuscule “what if”s- I am sure you can imagine the major, hard hitting ones running through my head every second, bringing tears to my eyes. Nervous wreck, that’s me! On top of it all, I’m thinking: should I be making a list of what goes to who??? Or a folder with all my passwords and pin #’s? Or should I write a little letter of my life? CRAZY TALK I know I know. But hey, I did my research, and the Doc performing the myomectomy is quite famous.

Yes, I am having a mega huge fibroid (as if I’m 5 mo. prego) removed tomorrow… 7:30 a.m. I know people have gone through worse things, but to me this is a big deal mainly cuz of the amount of blood I’ll lose- no reason to worry, right? AAAAAAAGGGHHHH! First thing on my to do list when I arrive in the a.m. is: DRUGS- I want to laugh and laugh til I go under anesthesia lol

Gotta pack the to-go baggie….
