Stop Signs

24/11/2007

Hellooooo world!
It has been a minute or 2. Not too much going on here in the Alligazm world… well that’s a flat out lie! LOL Way too much has been going on, that I wish I could press stop for just one minute… not even. I do not want to bore you with my burdens. Something did cross my mind, though:

I was sitting at a stop light the other day, day dreaming, as always. I was watching the cars go by… watching the cars pull up behind and beside me…. listening to the sounds of traffic… the birds.. the wind… All of a sudden, the hustle and bustle came to an abrupt halt. My light turned green, and it began again. Some people just keep going, ignoring the stop signs. Some are just oblivious to the intersections (applying make-up, sending texts, day dreaming). Majority of us simply STOP. It’s bizarre how a red light is the ultimate controlling factor in our everyday lives. I dunno… I got pretty deep in thought about the psychology behind it, and wanted to share.
