Summer Solstice June 22
20/06/2007The Summer Solstice marks the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere and the first day of winter in the southern. On this day, around June 22, the sun is farthest north making this day the longest day of the year. This time of the year celebrates the joy, warmth, and laughter of summer; God’s power. It represents the time of purification, renewal of oneself, and a time to release the sadness, fears, and pains from your life.
The Solstice is a day to see the creator in everyone you come in contact with and to recognize their divinity along with recognition of your own God self image. It is a beautiful day to renew the bonds between loved ones. Many rituals, laying the foundation of the summer, are used to complete external physical manifestations (finances, health, joy, faith, love, happiness, friendships, family, fun, luck, and abundance) and all energies devoted to exerting the will. This is a time of fullness of life, worldly blessings, and celebrations.
