When to Say Thank You
Beatmassa and I got into a small quarrel over when to say ‘thank you’. We went to see Batman: The Dark Knight, and in the car on the way back to the house we heatedly critiqued the movie. When we reached home, about 3 minutes after walking through the door he shouts from the other room, “You’re welcome!” I hadn’t even put my purse down, and technically he ran off. Now hold up- I am always very appreciative, and always thank everyone at that right time… and maybe more times after- over and over. I had every intention to thank Beatmassa.

Let me just get this off my chest right quick: waiting for the mailman to arrive with a highly anticipated package is like waiting for water to boil when the stove is not even on! I finally got my first fire toys today, the palm torches below and a pair of poi (both ordered from FireToys). Now I am highly anticipating the sun to go down so I can BURN BABY BURN! In the meanwhile, I am practicing and jamming out to Beatmassa’s song in progress. I’ll keep you updated once it’s complete…. check out the latest Silver Layer
My New Toys

Waiting In line for the New IPhone
…. was not I today. I will be honest, I never knew why the big hype for the new iphones, until my girl Hannah of What’s Happenin’ Hannah laid it down for me: “Oh the files are iiiin the computer?”: Zoolander. She informed me that everyone buys them and resells them for at least 50% mark up on ebay and other similar sites. Ooooh ok. I’m gonna admit that having one would not be too shabby, however, to stand in line all night and day, um not up my ALLEY. It is impressive to see the amount of people waiting for a $200 phone when I can most likely count on one hand how many of them participated in the gas strike on May 2nd. Sad, yeah? I wonder how many of the iphone happy’s will be waiting in line to vote 2008?
Almost a Dream Come True
Well it’s a closer than almost. If any of you have ever had the opportunity to hear my ultimate most vivid imagination on a tangent describing what I see when I hear Square Pusher’s: Iambic 9 Poetry on the Ultravisitor album, you will totally flip your lid after seeing Wall-E. M and I saw this movie tonight, and during the entire flick I could not get that song out of my head. It was my imagination come true, but with robots and space and all futuristic as opposed to beautiful colorful birds in a lush rain forest. It was still, just as my imagination, an absolutely moving must-see! I would have to say hands down in my Top 7 of all times. Yes, it was that good. I strongly suggest you check it out…. especially after listening to the recommended tune-age. I will admit tears were shed….

Craigslist.org has Become a Discussion Site?
I am on the hunt for a new career opp. I have rarely used Craigslist.org, but recently have turned to it to avoid the long ass application processes other online job boards make you go through. The past week I have come across many job posts that are obviously discussions… For example, check this out. If you click on a few of the links on the page I directed you to, you will see that they are straight up forum-type of messages. I don’t get it. When did Craigslist.org become a discussion site… in the job directories?
Shake it to the Ground by Rye Rye & DJ Blaqstarr
I absolutely love this song. The first time I heard it was a few months back in one of the Solid Steel shows. I, as I do with all new tunes I love, got obsessed with trying to find it. I finally found it, but only the video about 2 or 3 months ago. I really want the remixed mp3 versions, which apparently are sold out on a lot of the underground music sites. Can you please let me know where I can grab it? It’s the ‘Shake it the Ground drop the lime mix ‘ track on the Solid Steel Show March 7, 2008 with J Mountain, DK, and United States of Audio. Enjoy the video in the meanwhile~
Joe Picasso’s Creative Studio Fort Lauderdale???
…. closed down?!?!? This was such a cool place for kids and adults to hang out and enjoy a laid back, creative ambiance. I heard the buzz that the Riverside Hotel was planning to tear down the whole strip to make the pretentious hotel even more massive, but to tear down one of my hot spots was uncalled for… if in fact that had anything to do with the closing down. I am saddened, and so is M.
